Directions to Blackstone Ranch from the Southern End of Town

Turn left onto Highway 240 (Lower Ranchitos Road) at the Ranchos de Taos Post Office as you enter town from the south. The turn is at the first stop light as you enter Taos. The post office will be on your right.

Continue on Lower Ranchitos Road about 2.4 miles until you reach a 3−way stop. You will see a sign for Martinez Hacienda. At the stop turn right.

The entrance to Blackstone Ranch is about one tenth of a mile past the turn on your right. Look for the sign.

Directions to Blackstone Ranch from Taos Plaza (coming from the North)

Coming from the north end of town and driving south, turn right on La Placita at the second street light after the Taos Inn (which will be on your left and is one block north of the plaza).

Go one block to the stop light and turn left on Ranchitos Road (Highway 240). Continue on Ranchitos Road for 3.8 mile. It winds around and eventually heads southwest past the Martinez Hacienda.

Approximately 3.0 miles from your turn at the light you will see the ranch in the large valley to your left. Continue another 1/2 mile to the sign for the ranch entrance, which will be on your left after a sharp left hand turn in the road.
